Brazing Flux
Brazing flux have the purpose to obtain a surface free from oxide to allow the brazing. A filler metal wet itself and flow on base metal only if both are free from oxide on the surface. Then flux have the property to guarantee the wettability removing the oxides that forming with high temperature.
Saldobrase offers a complete range of brazing flux, because each material have to be treated at its best.

Data sheet
FLUX
SB/CS
Non-corrosive flux for soldering copper, brass, bronze, steel, stainless steel, nickel and hard metals. It is used with silver alloys, copper-phosphorus or phosphorus-copper-silver alloys, when brazing copper with copper alloys (bronze or brass).
Powder/Paste
500-750
FH 10
The removal of any residue can be carried out either mechanically or by washing or pickling.
SB/CS ULTRA
Flux supplied as white paste, corrosive, easy to dose, for brazing copper, brass, bronze, steel, nickel and its alloys. Excellent resistance to prolonged heating and high temperatures. It is used with silver alloys, copper-phosphorus or phosphorus-copper-silver alloys, when brazing copper with copper alloys (bronze or brass).
Paste
500-800
FH 10
The removal of any residue can be carried out either mechanically or by washing or pickling.
SB/CS DN
Flux supplied as white paste, corrosive, easy to dose, for brazing copper, brass, bronze, steel, nickel and its alloys. Suitable for brazing with automatic systems thanks to its formula which allows an optimal dosage.
Paste
500-750
FH 10
Stir well before using. The removal of any residue can be carried out either mechanically or by washing or pickling.
SB/M
Flux recommended for brazing tungsten carbide intended for tools and steels. Its prolonged operating time makes it useful for applications which require slow and prolonged heating.
Brown paste
510-1000
FH 12
Stir well before using. The removal of any residue can be carried out either mechanically or by washing or pickling.
SB/R70
Flux in powder indicated for brass alloys which also contain elements such as nickel, silicon, tin and manganese. Specifically designed for high temperatures.
Powder
1000
FH 21
The removal of any residue can be carried out either mechanically or by washing or pickling.
SB/ALU
Specific flux for brazing aluminium and aluminium alloys.
Powder
520-640
FL 10
Specific flux for brazing aluminium and aluminium alloys.
SB/211
Water-based flux specific for brazing tin.
Liquid
160-300
-
Thoroughly remove any residue with water after welding.
SB/M1
Liquid flux for brazing, provided in the flame of the torch through special accessory vaporizer.
Liquid
750-1100
FH 21
Average concentration. Also available in ECO-FRIENDLY variation.
SB/M2
Liquid flux for brazing, provided in the flame of the torch through special accessory vaporizer.
Liquid
750-1100
FH 21
Medium high concentration. Also available in ECO-FRIENDLY variation.
SB/M3
Liquid flux for brazing, provided in the flame of the torch through special accessory vaporizer.
Liquid
750-1100
FH 21
High concentration. Also available in ECO-FRIENDLY variation.
